KNUST School of Medical Science

The School of Medical Sciences was established to train physicians, medical scientists, and medical laboratory technologists. Enrolled students take a 3-year course after completing a bachelor’s degree in human biology. An additional 3-year program continues for MBCHB. Currently, the school is focused on training undergraduate physicians and medical scientists at the postgraduate level. The school is involved in the training of postgraduate physicians for professional membership and scholarship certification from Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons and West African Postgraduate Medical College.
